Ok so I fell for it, I went and joined a BBW (even though I hate that term) dating site.
Trying to meet some new people and connect with others like myself, Sadly I have removed my account the very day I created it!
Why? oohh I will tell you why.
They wanted me to pay $10 a month to find compatible people to meet and chat with.
I couldn’t even look at any mail I was receiving because they wanted me to PAY money to do that.
I do not think ANYONE no matter what their size should have to pay any form of money in order to find people who like them for who they are as people.
The following is my response to their questions regarding why I wanted to leave their site.
Why are you removing your profile?
I don’t think anyone should have to pay for love, or too try and find it! I did not realize when I signed up that I would not be able to do anything other then look at other profiles. I was unable to even read what a person sent me and that’s a real shame on your part.
BBW have a hard enough time meeting people who accept them for who they are, Why must sites like this take advantage of people like me…All in the name of making a buck. This made me sick and I will never recommend your site to anyone!
Are there any aspects of BBW Personals Plus that need improvement?
You need to give a little to get a little.
By forcing people to pay just makes for a money hungry site. You showed by doing this that your not about finding the right people for your site, just the desperate and extremely lonely ones. You should be ashamed for praying on these people.
And there ya have it! after deleting my account they had the balls to ask me to stay and they would give me a 2 for 1 deal. The nerve of some of these sites.
My advice to anyone who chooses to step onto a dating site to meet new people (for whatever reason)
NEVER pay! you should never have to pay someone to find love, if love is out there for you it’s out there free of charge! You just need to be looking.

It occurred to me this week just how much of an idiot my doctor is.
I’ve been going to her for the last decade complaining of back problems, hip problems, foot problems and ankle problems.
She finally had the nerve to tell me NOW that it’s probably because I am fat that I am hurting.
Now here is why I believe she is a total and utter idiot:
1st – I was actually a LOT thinner when I first complained of pain, she even went so far as to send me to physio. I asked the physiotherapist if my weight had ANYTHING to do with my problems his quick reply No, That it may be causing an aggravation but it’s not the actual cause.
Even as I got larger I had to re go back to physio and I asked a 2nd time to a different therapist, She even said no.
2nd – She just diagnosed me with Fybromyalgia, So which is it? Fybro or Fat?? I am sure it can be a bit of both and if it is then you should say that not just come out with well your fat!
So needless to say I think my doctor is a total idiot and I think the Canadian Health Care System are even BIGGER idiots, but that I should save for a whole new post!

So I managed to muster up the courage to try a new pair of jeans on today, They were a size 18.
I could still probably squeeze myself into a 16 but I am not into the whole not breathing thing anymore.
I was sad at first, it was for a split second. Then I realized how good I looked in them and wasn’t so bothered.
It helped that a really hot guy checked me out too. *laughs*
Isn’t it great, something as simple as a small stare from someone of the opposite sex can make a whole day.

If fat women ruled the world there would be so much more peace, Lets face it fat women really know how to show the love.
There would be more love in this world then there would be violence, and it would end so much suffering.
Fat women see everyday as a gift, and bring love and laughter to everything we touch.
So really would it be so bad it fat women ruled the world? Nah!

I have really started to come to an understanding with the world’s modelling industry. To put it plan and simple you can be the most attractive person in the world but if your under 5foot 8 your screwed!
We always talk about how we should not discriminate against anyone due to physical appearance but this industry seems to get away with it year after year.
Why are there no short people modelling agents out there? why are shorter people not featured on runways and in magazines? There is no real answer you can give that would make me think any different. It’s discrimination plan and simple.
You can be a skinny as a rail and as hot as the Bahamas but if your 5′4′ to bad no one will hire you to model for them.
Even the plus size modelling puts a label on how you “need” to look a certain way to work for them.
They say it’s OK to be fat and a size 14, but you better darn well be 5′9′ or else your not worthy.
I had an experience once at a plus size store where I looked up and saw this beautiful women wearing a cropped top and low-rise jeans exposing her flat tummy.
I said to the lady; “Why is that hanging in here? That women is far from fat!” The lady began to tell me that it was because the model in the photo was a size 14 but she was also 5′10.
As I tried on the pair of jeans the lovely model had been wearing in the ad I noticed something, the legs went on forever! And I was going to have no choice but to hem them up if I decided to buy them.
Looking at the price tag I was none to impressed when I saw it bulging out at a whopping $95, Again I approached the sales lady and asked why these jeans would cost so much when I could head across the street and get a pair almost the same for half the price, Sure they may fit a little different but us women always believe we can stretch them out.
The sales lady proceeded to tell me it was because they use “more” material to create these jeans there for they needed to mark up the price to cover those costs.
My comment to her “Well why don’t we just cut the legs off where I am gonna have to hem these up because they were made for a women who is 5 foot 9 I will give you back that material and you can chop off $40 from the price?”
She found my comment amusing to say the least, but sadly I got no deal and found a pair on sale got them instead and went home to hem them up.
I think the modelling industry needs to realize that not everyone in this world can be nice and tall and that clothing should be made for everyone, and by that I mean I should never have to worry about getting that awesome pair of jeans and fear I am going to have to cut off the cool bottoms because I am too short to fit into them.
I really I am not all that short, I have friends who are shorter I am 5 foot 4 and almost every store I shop in for pants I have to adjust the legs to some degree or another.
There needs to be a modelling industry for people who are under 5 foot 7! Would you not agree my fellow shorties?
